Alexandra Vilemay,
MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
I’m a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, and I truly believe that the best care happens when we work together. I’m dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner, which allows me to look at both your mental and physical health as part of the same, connected story.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from adolescence through later adulthood as they navigate life’s many transitions. I’m passionate about working with women through deeply personal and often challenging experiences such as infertility, pregnancy loss, the transition to parenthood, and menopause. I also help individuals manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and the stress that can come with major life changes.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on the whole person. I take time to listen and understand your experiences, values, and goals—not just your symptoms. It is important to me that you feel heard and supported in a non-judgmental space.
Using a shared decision-making model, we develop thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plans focused on safety, sustainability, and long-term well-being. I integrate medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle-based strategies, along with your supportive therapy, considering the biological, cultural, and social factors that influence mental health. Throughout our work together, my goal is for you to leave sessions feeling validated, informed, and supported on your path toward healing and stability.
